CONVERSION INPUT

Note: Sensitivity conversion is mathematical. FOV, scoped multipliers, acceleration and game-specific input processing can change perceived feel.

04 — GUIDE

Convert game sensitivity using cm/360

Sensitivity numbers are not directly comparable between games because each title uses its own angular scale. This converter uses game yaw values and DPI to preserve the physical distance required for a full 360-degree turn.

You can also change DPI during the conversion. The result includes target sensitivity, source and target eDPI, cm/360 and inches/360 so you can verify that the physical aiming distance remains consistent.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is cm/360?+

It is the physical distance you move the mouse to rotate the in-game camera by 360 degrees. It is useful for comparing sensitivity across games.

What is eDPI?+

eDPI is DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. It is useful within the same game but is not always directly comparable across different games.

Will every game feel perfectly identical?+

Not always. Field of view, zoom behavior, acceleration and game-specific input processing can still affect perceived feel.
