Mouse Click Test
Test mouse buttons independently and watch each press register in real time. Useful for checking worn switches, missed clicks and accidental duplicates.
Check mouse button consistency
A healthy mouse button should generate one clear press and release for each physical click. If a switch is worn, you may notice missed clicks, rapid duplicate presses or inconsistent holding behavior.
Use the 20-click consistency mode for a quick repeatable check. The page measures received clicks, average interval, fastest interval and suspicious ultra-fast duplicates while also showing left, right, middle and side-button activity.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a suspicious duplicate click?+
The tool flags same-button presses that arrive unusually close together. This can be a sign of switch chatter, although very fast intentional clicking can also trigger it.
Can I test click-and-hold?+
Yes. Press and hold a button inside the test area to see the current hold state and duration.
Does this replace a hardware diagnostic?+
No. It is a fast input-event check, not an electrical measurement of the switch.
